Security

We place a strong emphasis on security for both online store owners and their customers. To ensure data protection and the security of interactions with our platform, our team continuously implements a range of measures. The Xonox platform undergoes regular testing for potential vulnerabilities, and our internal audit framework is constantly refined and tested.

Security measures are categorized into public and non-public aspects. Public measures include the use of HTTPS across all projects and subprojects, encrypted and isolated communication channels for internal data transmission, the latest algorithms for token and hash generation, and encrypted storage of customers’ personal data.

Multilingual Support

Our platform enables you to present content in multiple languages. Nearly every element of your store can have a corresponding language version, including category names, product descriptions, informational page texts, technical specification fields, filter names, and more. Even the page URL (URI) for a product or category can vary based on the selected language.

New languages can be added over time as your project evolves, and translations can be introduced gradually. Each store must have at least one primary language. If translations are not available for a newly added language, content will default to the primary language. This ensures a seamless transition when expanding language options, allowing you to introduce new languages while progressively adding translations as needed.

Multilingual functionality is closely integrated with the structure of category, product, and informational page URLs. For instance, the URL segment (slug) for a category or product can differ by language, meaning the same product may have distinct URLs in different languages. This approach enhances search engine optimization (SEO) and improves site usability and clarity for international audiences.

Template System

The appearance of your store is managed through a set of templates. A template is a compact code fragment that defines the structural and graphical layout of each page, its behavior under various conditions, and its interaction with users. You have extensive flexibility to modify every page element to align with your specific requirements, ranging from broad design changes to precise, fine-tuned adjustments.

Templates use a straightforward syntax that allows for logical conditions, loop operations, and modifications of numerical and textual data. Despite its simplicity, the template system provides exceptional flexibility, enabling you to create a highly adaptable online store. One of its key advantages is that for a well-prepared store theme, no additional template modifications are required.

Templates are also closely integrated with multilingual functionality and search engine optimization (SEO). They facilitate text and data localization, allowing you to fine-tune various aspects of page code to meet modern SEO best practices effectively.

Multi-Currency Support

Our platform was designed from the ground up to support multiple currencies. You can define a list of currencies you wish to work with, specify the currency used for internal accounting, set the currency for transactions, and determine which currencies will be available to customers on your store’s pages. By default, a single-currency setup is standard, but additional currencies can be added effortlessly at any time, requiring minimal adjustments.

In addition to currency selection, you have full control over exchange rates within your store. Each currency is assigned its own exchange rate, which can be updated as needed. When exchange rates change, simply update the rate values—product prices in the corresponding currencies will be adjusted instantly. No manual conversions, price exports, or imports are necessary, ensuring seamless currency management.

Inventory Management

Your online store includes a built-in, straightforward inventory management system. You can create purchase orders, add ordered products in specified quantities, and track them through a structured sequence of stages. This process consolidates essential data, enabling comprehensive financial and marketing analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations.

With inventory management, you gain visibility into the actual cost of goods, factoring in additional expenses and taxes—helping you set optimal retail prices. You can also provide customers with estimated restock dates for temporarily unavailable items. Additionally, pricing analysis tools allow you to identify excessive markups or products being sold at a loss.

The Purchasing Assistant feature, based on order data, helps streamline future procurement decisions. Inventory insights also contribute to global store performance metrics, such as total purchasing costs and profit margins, with precise tracking down to the day and cent.

Performance

We have optimized our platform to ensure that online store pages load exceptionally fast. The typical page generation speed (HTML code) is around 100–200 milliseconds. This enhances the user experience for your visitors and improves your website’s ranking in search engines, ultimately contributing to better sales performance.

In addition to optimizing storefront speed, we have also prioritized efficiency in the admin panel. Its minimalist design and intuitive interface enable seamless navigation, with most actions and transitions between sections occurring almost instantly.

SEO Optimization

Our advanced templating system provides store owners with virtually unlimited control over webpage structure. You can customize HTML layouts, define necessary meta tags and attributes, and manually manage page content—empowering you to implement even the most complex SEO strategies.

Our structured URL system further enhances SEO. For example, a category page follows the format /section/, a subcategory /section/subsection/, and a product page /section/subsection/product/. This results in clean, logical, and SEO-friendly URLs—eliminating the need for generic paths like /products/ in every link. Additionally, product images include the product slug in their URLs, further improving search visibility.
